WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Nearly six decades ago, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, affectionately known as the Rebbe, instituted a transformative initiative, a visionary campaign rooted in the Rebbe's deep love for every Jewish soul, aimed at ensuring that the light of Chanukah reached even the most remote corners, especially the front lines where the nation's soldiers stood in service.

The Rebbe's foresight and love for every Jew were the driving forces behind this initiative. He believed that regardless of one's circumstances, the celebration of Chanukah should be a universal experience, embracing each member of the Jewish community.

Volunteers, inspired by the Rebbe's love and teachings, work tirelessly to deliver not only menorahs and candles but also a message of hope and solidarity to those on the front lines. The flickering flames, kindled in the darkest hours, serve as a beacon of resilience and a reminder that, even in the midst of war, the light of Chanukah can pierce through the darkness.

The Rebbe's teachings on the transformative power of light in dispelling darkness resonate deeply, motivating us to make the Rebbe's vision a reality.
